Happy Mother’s Day! Today is about leaning into the special moments. In our house, that almost always involves a growing stack of books.
For my own “me time”, I’ll be starting Honest Motherhood by Libby Ward soon. I’ve followed her for a while and love her raw, unfiltered take on parenting and shared responsibilities in marriage. It’s been on my TBR list since she first announced it!
But Mother’s Day is also about the “us” moments. I’ve picked out a few of our favorite ways to connect. We love the “How to Catch a…” series and they now have “How to Catch a Mamasaurus“—a fun staple to add to our collection. I’m also featuring two of my favorite interactive tools: the Between Mom and Me guided journal and the Draw with Mom! doodle book.
The journal is something we’ve used to pass back and forth, which is so helpful for staying connected during busy seasons like a move. The doodle book is perfect for younger ones, allowing for a shared creative moment without the pressure of writing.
Explore the Stack: I’ve linked these reads and our favorite interactive journals on my Benable board. Whether you’re looking for a deep dive or a way to connect with your kids, these are all personal favorites.
